Looking Back On Detroit Jazz Legend Donald Byrd

Detroit’s legendary jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd would have have turned on 85 this past February 4th, so we’re taking a look back at his extensive catalog of work stretching from the 1950s all the way to today dialing in on his influential 1970s jazz / funk fusion records.
