It’s the end of the year and many families in Metro Detroit are thinking about how they can help others through local charities.
The Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan has a unique mission. They’ve been helping people with limited means furnish their homes since 1968.
Rob Boyle is the organization’s Executive Director. He spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn.
Boyle says furniture is a critical need that can make a difference in the lives of a family.
