Bittersweet Beverages and History Comes To Detroit Institute of Arts

The Detroit Institute of Arts has a new exhibition opening Sunday, November 20, 2016. Bittersweet: Coffee, Tea & Chocolate is comprised of nearly 70 works of art focused on the cultural implications of these beverages throughout history. Melanie Parker is the Interpretive Planner for the exhibition. Yao-Fen You is the curator. She says aside from the objects on display, the social revolution caused by coffee, tea and chocolate is one of the most interesting aspects of the exhibition.
