Democrat John Conyers has represented Detroit in Congress for roughly a half-century.

But Libertarian Party congressional candidate Tiffany Hayden says Conyers has become an empty presence who does little to benefit Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.

Hayden tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter she felt compelled to try to make a difference in the U.S. House.
