130 Years of Fashion on Display at The Henry Ford

Wisconsin family meticulously preserved wardrobes over more than a century

A new exhibit at The Henry Ford in Dearborn offers a glimpse into fashion trends over the last 130 years. The exhibit comes from several generations of one family beginning in the mid 1800’s. Jeanine Head Miller is Curator of Domestic Life at The Henry Ford. She tells WDET’s Amy Miller that the exhibit is a display of fashion but it also includes letters that document occasions and events that are tied to the clothing. The American Style and Spirit exhibit opens November 5th and runs through April 2nd.
