Lily Adams Performs Live In Studio

Laura Weber Davis, WDET

This Friday at 7pm the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art will host a Blues Night concert, with a tribute to Detroit’s Queen of Blues, Alberta Adams.

Lily Adams, Alberta’s niece, is also a musician, and will honor her aunt by performing at the concert.

Lily lives full time in Nuremberg, Germany, where she performs and serves as a testament to the impact and longevity of American music. She has performed around the world and has returned to Detroit for a visit.

To hear Adams perform “My Baby Just Cares for Me” and “Fine and Mellow” live in studio on Detroit Today, click on the audio player above.
