Veteran Democratic Congressman Says Trump is Too Wild for White House

The presidential campaign carousel continues to spin.

Former Republican Vice President Sarah Palin is saying she will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan because he says he’s not certain if he’ll support presumed GOP nominee Donald Trump.

Democrat Bernie Sanders is pledging to battle rival candidate Hillary Clinton all the way to a possibly contested convention this summer.

It’s become an election cycle the likes of which veteran political observers say they’ve never seen before.

That includes long-time Michigan Congressman Sander Levin, a Democrat with over three decades of service in the U.S. House.

Not surprisingly, given his party affiliation, Levin tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter he believes a Trump White House would be a scary thing.
