Grand Hotel Opens for 130th Season Friday

Mackinac Island attraction prepares for another summer.

The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island opens its 130th season on Friday, May 6. A few guests paid for an early stay before the sprawling summer venue welcomes the general public. Dan Musser’s family has owned and operated the hotel for almost one hundred years. He tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller they’re opening a new restaurant soon.
