New Provost Looking Forward to Guiding Wayne State’s Academics

Keith Whitfield officially starts as Wayne State’s new Provost on June 1st.

Wayne State University has hired a new provost.  Keith Whitfield will take the position as the university’s chief academic officer on June 1st.

Whitfield currently serves as the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs at Duke University. 

He spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about his decision to come to Detroit.
