There have been many surprises during this current presidential campaign, from the early successes of Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz, to the confounding mess that appears to be the Jeb Bush campaign, which has many Americans asking, “What the heck is going on?” Especially, when it comes to the one time perceived Republican front runner, Jeb Bush. Why hasn’t a candidate that has a recognizable name, a sizeable war chest and the son and brother of two former Presidents, been able to connect with voters? Republican State Rep. Andrea LaFontaine, from Michigan’s District 32, is a Jeb Bush supporter, she joins Stephen Henderson on Detroit Today to discuss why Gov. Bush is the best choice for the Republicans, despite his lackluster performance, thus far during the campaign.
