Eyes On the Sky: NWS Seeks Spotters

Skywarn spotter training classes start February 25.

The National Weather Service is looking for severe weather spotters this spring and summer. The first Skywarn training class in Southeast Michigan is scheduled for February 25 at the Liberty School Auditorium in Saline. Rich Pollman is the warning coordination meteorologist at the NWS office in White Lake Township. He says anyone who’s interested in weather can become a spotter.
