DSO Now Streaming Live Concert Archive [Video]

Orchestra lets users see past performances in HD

If you’ve missed the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s live webcasts, you can now stream them when you want. The DSO is making its performance archive available through an online service called Replay. Executive Vice President Paul Hogle tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller the orchestra is the first in the U.S. to make its video archive available on demand. Full access to the site is available to DSO members who’ve donated at least $50, and includes more than a hundred classical works by Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, and other composers. Click on the audio player above to hear the conversation.

You can see a two-minute preview of the Replay archive here.
