University of Michigan and China Join for Masters Program

Officials with the University of Michigan are announcing a plan to strengthen the school’s ties with China. The Ross School of Business and Shanghai Jiao Tong University will pilot a Master of Management program for Chinese engineering students. Spokesperson Liz Muller says the schools have had a connection since the late 1990s.

As the two universities built up that relationship, they could see to that idea to innovate in engineering education between the two so they developed this joint institute which is really runs very much in collaboration with the two universities, but is an independent entity.”
