Detroit’s redevelopment is always a key topic at the annual Mackinac Policy Conference. This year, policy makers and business leaders will discuss ways to ensure Detroit’s story doesn’t become a tale of two cities, one rich, one poor. WDET’s Pat Batcheller spoke with the chairman of this year’s conference, Mark Davidoff, and Detroit Regional Chamber CEO Sandy Baruah. Davidoff says it’s critical to create opportunities for everyone in Detroit to succeed.
