Detroit-based troubadour Ethan Daniel Davidson stays busy helping to raise his sons and sitting on the board of the philanthropic William Davidson Foundation. He’s the son of the late philanthropist. But whereas his father chose business, Ethan chose music. Having spent time in Mississippi and Alaska on his journey to find his own Americana, Davidson returned to Michigan to continue recording music and raise a family of his own. Davidson sits down with WDET’s Travis Wright to talk about his path of self-discovery through music and play select cuts from his new record, Draw Nigh. He plays the UFO Factory this weekend.
