New York’s Public Theater has delivered Shakespeare to the masses in Central Park for decades. Now, for the first time in its history, The Public is collaborating with theater companies around the country — starting in Detroit. This weekend at the Detroit Institute of Arts, The Mosaic Youth Theatre opens a run of the critically acclaimed adaptation of Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.” WDET’s Travis Wright has this audio postcard.
