Veteran Pollster: It Looks Bad For Proposal 1

Early polls showed overwhelming opposition to Proposal 1, the ballot question that would raise more than $1 billion in new revenue to fix Michigan roads. Veteran pollster Steve Mitchell says voter sentiment hasn’t changed with less than a week before the election. He tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller that the “no” voters still outnumber the “yeses” by a wide margin. Mitchell is the chairman and founder of Mitchell Research and Communications, which has tracked Michigan political trends for 30 years.
