Joe Barone Appointed As New Wayne County Commissioner

Joe Barone will finish the term of former Wayne County Commissioner Shannon Price.

Wayne County has a new commissioner.  Plymouth attorney Joe Barone was appointed late last week to finish the term of Shannon Price in District 10.  Price resigned recently to become the Plymouth Township Supervisor.  Barone will finish out Price’s term, which runs until December 31, 2016.

Barone talked with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about some of his expectations for the new position — and how his appointment came about.
