   The Detroit Tigers are embarking on a new season with most of the same pieces still in place.

   The Tigers are an aging team with some key players plagued by injuries in recent years.

   In fact, some experts say Detroit’s window to win a World Series is rapidly closing.

   But the lead baseball writer for Sports Illustrated — Fox Sports commentator Tom Verducci — tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that the Tigers bats are still ready to roar…
