Detroit Youth Poets Perform MLK Remembrance Poem

Every year teen poets from the InsideOut Literary Arts Project write and perform a poem about race, society and civil rights, to honor the memory and work of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Justin Rogers, Kennedie King, and Arzelia Williams share about their work and the meaning surrounding the poem they wrote and performed for Wayne State University’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Luncheon.
