WDET Leadership Circle and Resiliency Campaign
A unique opportunity for you to make a bigger impact on Detroit’s public radio station.
When you make an annual gift of $1,200 or more (in a lump sum or $100 monthly sustaining donation), you’ll be invited to join a special group of other loyal WDET supporters who share your passion for independent journalism, music discovery, and storytelling.

Members who have donated a cumulative $1,200 within a single year are automatically included in the Leadership Circle.
Catalyst Level
$1,200 to $2,499
Receive the following benefits:
- Invitations to exclusive Leadership Circle events.
- Private WDET tour for you and a guest scheduled for a mutually beneficial time, once per year at donor’s request. Some blackout dates apply.
- Inspire other listeners to join you in supporting WDET by recording your own personal on-air testimonial or participating in Leadership Matches during on-air fundraisers.
Director Level
$2,500 – $4,999
Receive the above benefits plus:
- Two complimentary tickets to a special event as opportunities arise during the year.
- Introduce friends and family to WDET with a private tour for up to 4 guests and scheduled for a mutually beneficial time, once per year at donor’s request. Some blackout dates apply.
- As our thank you gift to you, you may select a WDET Day Sponsorship to celebrate a special occasion with an on-air greeting. (Other thank you gifts may be selected instead.)
Producer Level
$5,000 – $9,999
Receive the above benefits plus:
- Invitation to visit with selected WDET program host or producer once per year, at donor’s request.
- Invitations to a special event hosted by the general manager once a year.
- Introduce friends and family to WDET with a private tour for up to 6 guests and scheduled for a mutually beneficial time, once per year at donor’s request. Some blackout dates apply.
Resiliency Campaign
Gifts Greater than $9,999
Gifts to WDET of $10,000 or more in a year qualify as major gifts and automatically include you in the Leadership Circle. Donors at this level may participate in WDET’s Resiliency Campaign and can receive customized benefits. WDET may consider donations to support the coverage of particular topics, but our organization maintains editorial control of the coverage. We will cede no right of review or influence of editorial content, nor of unauthorized distribution of editorial content. We do not accept anonymous restricted gifts for our news programming and will accept anonymous donations for general support.
