Valerie Prince, associate professor of African American Studies at Wayne State University, joins Stephen Henderson. They will discuss her paper “Keep on Moving Don’t Stop: Invisible Man,” African American literature and art during Ellison’s writing of Invisible Man, and how women are depicted in the book.

Stephen will interview Valerie Prince and then take questions from the audience.

Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link with details.

You can also keep the conversation going by joining the WDET Book Club group where we will post articles and discussion topics throughout the summer.
