The Secret Society Of Twisted Storytellers is a monthly event that features real people who tell true, personal stories live onstage in front of an engaged audience at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Every month, five new storytellers are curated to tell a 10-15 minute story on a pre-selected, curatorial theme. They bring stories that are off the beaten path with twists and turns, lessons learned and told from the heart of human experience.

July will feature “Detroit 1967” with Twisted Storytellers Daniel Baxter, Dr. Rev. Gary Bennett, Carolyn Colvard & Loretta Holmes, Dwight “Skip” Stackhouse, and musical guests Dwayne Brown and the LSO Dance Company.
