WDET invites you to a summer yoga flow in the heart of downtown Detroit at the “Framed by WDET: Places Where We Belong” exhibition space. This slow flow yoga class will get you sweating while elongating your muscles and quieting your mind. Class will be taught by “Framed by WDET” audio producer and narrator Erin Allen (RYT 500) and enhanced by a live DJ set of Detroit music by CAИDI, songwriter and producer.
This Detroit-inspired yoga class will create a unique and serene ambiance as you experience the art work around you.
Early bird tickets available until for $5.
“Framed by WDET: Places Where We Belong” is a multimedia exhibition that celebrates the stories of communities with a rich legacy in Detroit. From long-time residents who are preserving a southern blues music tradition to neighbors who share Middle Eastern cuisine, it explores the moments and spaces that we share with one another through the work of 18 Detroit-based photographers and storytellers.
