Get inspired for great ways to get outdoors together and commune with the Earth. Anna Marie Sysling will be joined by many special guests Dr. Paul Shuert, aquarium curator at Belle Isle Conservancy, Nature Center Director Amy Greene, Kimberly Simmons Executive Director of the Detroit River Project and Amanda Murray, Belle Isle Aquarist.
Dr. Paul Shuert will share the screen with his daughter from Winnipeg, Canada. They are both marine biologist and will share amazing stories of their experiences on the lakes.
Amy Greene will share what’s available to explore on Belle Isle.
Kimberly Simmons will share her family story of her ancestors’ involvement in the Underground Railroad.
Amanda Murray will share home videos out in nature from her childhood. You may remember her from our watch party featuring the famous Madagascar hissing cockroaches.
