INTENTION OF THE WORKSHOP is for participants to become familiar with the basic tools of the art and craft of storytelling. Participants will learn to use the basic tools of the craft as a process to develop their own stories with the intention to deliver a clear and powerful message. And, to identify an audience whether big or small where they will share their story.

Participants will choose a true and personal story to tell and identify the purpose they want to fulfill in telling it. This is the story we will develop throughout the workshop. Participants will become familiar with three of the most important tools of the craft. They will develop their personal stories by using the following three tools:

1. SIMPLE

2. START IN THE ACTION.

3. HAVE SOME STAKES

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To learn the basics of the craft of the oral tradition of storytelling and to have FUN!

Registration is free but required. Click here to register
