Concert of Colors in the Neighborhood: the Gospel Meets the Blues

WDET is partnering with Concert of Colors this year to promote their “In the Neighborhood” concert series. Concert of Colors and GenesisHOPE present The Gospel Meets the Blues featuring Thornetta Davis, Rev. Robert Jones Sr., and Calvin Cooke on Easter Sunday–April 20th–at the Harpo Concert Theater in Detroit.

Doors for this free event will open at 5:30PM and all are welcome–a continuation of Concert of Colors’ mission of accessible, global music for all of the citizens of Detroit. WDET’s Jay Butler, host of Jay’s Place will emcee the show, which begins at 6:00PM.

Parking for this event will be available in the rear of the Harpos Concert Theatre, located at 14238 Harper Avenue, near I-94E.
