Amanda LeClaire began working in public media as a founding producer of Detroit Today. She then spent time as WDET’s Morning Edition host before transitioning to a video producer for Dearborn-based ad agency GTB. Amanda worked on documentary-style videos, including A Girl’s Guide to Detroit, a short film about young women who live and work in the city. After spending a few years in the Southwest U.S. working as a reporter and producer for Arizona Public Media, Amanda returned to Detroit to host WDET’s new program, CultureShift. She’s also extremely shy in person and hates talking about herself, but if you ask her about music or the paranormal then she’ll likely be down for email@example.com Follow @amandalee_lec
