Amber Lois Harvey is a WDET special projects intern and a senior majoring in journalism and public affairs at Wayne State University. Her passion for politics and news writing stems from her desire to inspire meaningful conversation about the world and its beautiful, yet sometimes flawed, human inhabitants. Amber is interested in political and investigative journalism, particularly in the areas of public health, agricultural and nutritional policy, and the food industry.  She grew up listening to pubic radio and thanks WDET for giving her the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the pros in the field.
