As a student at the University of Michigan, Eli first cut his teeth at WCBN FM Ann Arbor where he played 70’s Ethiopian pop and Italo-Disco into the wee hours of the night. In 2014, he joined the WDET 101.9 FM team, covering breaking stories in the newsroom and contributing to Culture City.
