Gus got into journalism by covering the hip-hop scene in Lansing, Ann Arbor and Detroit. Raised on public radio, Gus enjoys talking about the intersection of music, sports, politics and popular culture. Some of Gus’ favorite activities are cooking, spending time in Northern Michigan and taking road trips. A graduate of Michigan State University, he’s always ready to talk about Spartan basketball.
