For Detroit Lions football fans, seeing Matt Stafford earn a trip to the Super Bowl in his first year on a new team can stir up mixed emotions.

When Matthew Stafford plays in the 2022 Super Bowl, he won’t be dressed in the Honolulu blue uniform that Detroiters watched him in for 12 years. Instead, he’ll be wearing the bone-white jersey of the Los Angeles Rams, as his new team faces off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite Stafford representing a different franchise, many Detroit Lions fans are still excited.
