Frank Sinatra, The Father: Daughter Tina Remembers the Artist

On December 15, 2015, when Frank Sinatra would have turned 100 years old, his daughter, Tina, spoke publicly about her father’s work ethic, the importance he placed on loyalty and the rumors about his ties to the Mafia

Frank Sinatra was born to Italian immigrants in New Jersey in 1915 and went on to become one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. He was a singer, arranger, producer and actor who sold more than 150 million albums worldwide.

“He was born to do exactly what he did. It was a God-given gift — he could be nothing but a singer.” — Tina Sinatra

Tina Sinatra opened up about the fascinating life her father’s fascinating life. She says what Frank lacked in formal music training, he made up for in his innate music ability. His intrinsic talents coupled with arranger and conductor Nelson Riddle’s formal training created some of Frank Sinatra’s most notable work.
