Now Showing: The Cinetopia Film Festival

The Cinetopia Film Festival returns to Metro Detroit this Friday.

Since 2012, Cinetopia has brought award-winning movies from around the world to Southeast Michigan.

This year, the festival will screen more documentaries than narrative films and host multiple special program events.

Another significant change to the festival is the addition of a new venue: the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak.

CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire speaks with Cinetopia curator Ariel Wan to learn more.

The Cinetopia Film Festival runs from Friday, May 10th—Sunday, May 19th.
