100 Things to do in the Upper Penninsula…

Like visit the Jam Pot or haunted mining sites

As winter weather drags on, many people are feeling a bit of “cabin fever”. Spending too much time on the couch and inside. The author of a new book urges Michiganders to plan a road trip and go see the Upper Peninsula. Kath Usitalo is the author of “100 Things to do in the Upper Peninsula Before You Die”. She grew up in the Detroit area but now lives in Naubinway at Lake Michigan’s most northern point. She tells WDET’s Amy Miller that most people don’t realize the size or topographical diversity of the U.P.
