SUVs Drive June Auto Sales

This year’s auto sales are on pace to be the best in a decade. Used car sales are strong, too.

June sales figures show it was another healthy month for the auto industry, with SUVs continuing to fly off dealer lots. Nissan’s U.S. sales rose more than 13 percent last month, while Fiat Chrysler gained eight percent. Ford sales rose two percent. Autotrader.com senior analyst Michelle Krebs tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller why General Motors sales fell three percent in June.
