This American Life: The Retracted Episode + A Show Dedicated To The Retraction

Earlier this year This American Life featured an excerpt from Michael Daisey’s monologue about Apple's manufacturing processes in China. That episode became the single most popular podcast in This American Life's history…but it turns out the story contained numerous fabrications.

Coming up tonight at 7pm, we'll present the original TAL episode. Then at 8pm, TAL devotes an entire program to detail the errors in the story, plus Ira Glass' confrontation with Daisey. It's an evening of radio you don’t want to miss.

We'll also re-air the correction Saturday morning at 9am and again at 5pm.
