New WDET Schedule = More To Love

Here at WDET, we're always striving to provide you with the most informative and entertaining programming that we can. We're committed to serving Metro Detroit with fact-based conversations about the news that impacts our community. With that in mind, we are making some adjustments to our schedule that make it easier for you to listen to your favorite programs. We've even added some new shows that we think you'll love. So, without further ado, here are the highlights!

Many of you have told us for years that an earlier start time for The Craig Fahle Show would increase your ability to listen. Starting Monday, our locally produced daily talk show moves up an hour each morning to 9AM. The evening version of the show stays from 7-9 PM, and will air five days a week.

Following The Craig Fahle Show each weekday will be Tell Me More at 11AM. This is when the show airs live, and will increase your opportunities to be engaged with host Michelle Martin and her terrific national show. John Hockenberry and The Takeaway will follow at noon.

Another thing we are really excited about: The Late Lunch. Each afternoon at 1PM, we'll air some of your favorites: This American Life, On Being, The Moth Radio Hour, and a new show to WDET, Snap Judgement. Described as "storytelling with a beat", Snap Judgement is hosted by Detroit native Glynn Washington, the winner of the Public Radio Talent Quest competition. We are really looking forward to sharing it with you.

Finally, we are creating a new local show: Culture City. WDET's Travis Wright will update you on some of the great things happening in Metro Detroit’s Arts and Culture scene each Friday at 1PM.

That’s the gist of it. Everything you love is still here; the great news shows, wonderful music, and more local programming - at a time that's convenient for you. Please, take a look at the complete schedule and if you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to let us know. We are happy to talk to you about it.

Thanks so much for listening, and as always, thank you for your ongoing support.

Sincerely,

Craig Fahle & Michelle Srbinovich
