Community: Old Redford/Brightmoor


Kofi works with Motor City Blight Busters. He runs the "Fertile Ground Collective" which is working on creating an urban farm in Northwest Detroit. He wants to move from community gardens to a working farm.

In conjunction with their exhibit Detroit Revealed: Photographs, 2000-2010, the Detroit Institute of the Arts is hosting Reveal Your Detroit, a community-based project designed to solicit the public's creative response to the exhibition. Learn more about WDET's involvement here!
