Free Comic Book Day Supports WDET & Childrens' Literacy

This Saturday, Green Brain Comics of Dearborn will be hosting Free Comic Book Day! Green Brain Comics will be giving away comic books absolutely free to anyone who attends. The event has now outgrown the store, so look for the huge white tent in the parking lot. Come by and meet comic book writers, cartoonists, hear presentations by educators, have fun listening to local DJs and even a Super Hero Rapper!
This event brings together the ingenious forces of Green Brain Comics, Free Comic Book Day and Kids Read Comics kidsreadcomics(at)gmail.com. Locally founded and based, Kids Read Comics helps to turn kids into more active and engaged readers. They also provide a model for young readers to explore and develop their own creativity.
But that's not all! During Free Comic Books Day, 10% of every sale will be donated to WDET!
