Sunday Session: 001 - DJ Equad

Based in the metro Detroit area, DJ Equad has shared the stage with acts such as Dwele, Slum Village, Stoopz n’ Breeze, Black Reign and Okhang and numerous others and is the official DJ for R & B artist Karl Kingson.

DJ Equad is a musical chameleon, a sound painter who spins a full range of dance and electronic, skillfully juxtaposing mainstream and underground music genres. He plays over 100+ gigs per year in the Detroit and various cities through the midwest.

DJ Equad’s mix “Tiger’s Blood”, which is featured on this week’s Sunday Session is a groovy, sonic tapestry that peruses the deeper shades of house, broken beat and bass-inflected bpm.
