StoryCorps' mobile booth is located in front of the Carr Center in Detroit’s Harmonie Park/Paradise Valley district. You can learn more and make reservations now. Today’s story comes from Marcia Berkow. She tells her son, Joshua, about how her father survived imprisonment in the Dachau concentration camp, how she was born in a displaced persons camp and her arrival in America after World War Two.
