Today’s story comes from Shaka Senghor and his fiancée, Ebony Roberts. Senghor is a community activist and writer. His life experience includes serving time for violent crime in his youth. Senghor talks about meeting his future wife while in prison and how Roberts reminded him of a black activist he admired.
