Digital Arts, Film, and Television

Creating short films, animations, even documentaries has become so much easier with the advent of new software and relatively cheap, consumer-friendly equipment. It's also never been as tough to get noticed in the sea of media choices. DAFT (Digital, Arts, Film & Television) helps teens and adults create high-quality, well-honed stories and offers a platform for them to be shown.

Here's a few samples of student projects created in the DAFT program last year.

'Emma', a short film by Eisenhower High School student Morgan Anderson, will premier at this year's film fest.

Coming up on Saturday, April 30th, Digital Arts, Film, and Television present the 43rd Annual Student Film Fest, showing the works of K-12 Michigan students on the big screen of the beautiful Detroit Film Theatre. It's free to the public and the show begins early at 10am.
