The NASA Curiosity rover took its first robotic steps yesterday after landing on Mars at the beginning of August. The mission has cost upwards of 2.5-billion dollars and the goal of the mission is to determine if the planet can be eventually inhabited by people. Even President Obama has said he is confident people will be on the planet by 2030.
So, WDET’s Question of the Day is, “What do you think of the prospect of humans being on Mars in our lifetime?”
