“Who should pay for security during the fireworks?”

Mayor Dave Bing says Detroit can’t afford to pay for all the security needed to handle large events like the fireworks. Therefore, he’s calling on suburban departments to send police to help during the event.

So, WDET’s Question of the Day is “Who should pay for security during the fireworks and why?”
