The Association of Alternative Newsmedia is in Detroit this week for its annual convention. From Detroit’s Metro Times to New York’s the Village Voice to the LA Weekly, alt-weeklies often cover news not found in the traditional daily papers or other sources.

So, WDET’s Question of the Day is “What do you like most about alternative weeklies and why?”
