How Will Michigan's Public Assistance Cuts Affect You?
Earlier this summer, the Michigan Legislature passed a bill, signed by Governor Snyder, to limit state assistance to four years over a lifetime for most welfare recipients.
Starting October 1st, the first wave of people currently on assistance who have hit "the limit" will see their benefits cutoff.
