Tropical storm Isaac may have delayed the start of the Republican National Convention, but it won’t compromise WDET’s collaboration with NPR and WNYC to bring you in-depth coverage of the emerging storylines of the convention, and the people behind them.

Our three-day coverage, begins Tuesday night at 7 and includes:
- convention floor insights from important swing state delegations, including Michigan's
- analysis from WDET’s Craig Fahle that will help you make informed decisions leading up to the November election
- your conversations with reporters and guests from convention hall, on-air and here at wdet.org

Tuesday - Thursday from 7p.m. to 8p.m. we'll broadcast live coverage from WNYC. We're part of their "(Mostly) Swing State Network". You'll have opportunities to call in and talk with public radio listeners in swing states around the country at 1-800-543-2543 and join the conversation online via their live chat. Our own Craig Fahle will be joining WNYC's Brian Leher Wednesday night. NPR's live coverage follows from 8p.m. - 11p.m. and we'll have their live chat available here each day starting at 9a.m.
