On Sunday, January 15th, the legendary creators of Einstein on the Beach, director Robert Wilson and composer Philip Glass, came together for a special conversation on the history and creative process of their groundbreaking collaborative opera.

New York based Director Anne Bogart moderated the discussion with comfortable ease and provocative insight.

Before the event, she spoke with WDET's Travis Wright about the atmosphere and reaction to Einstein when it debited in 1976.
